2023 tavaszán hat kortárs európai költő érkezett Magyarországra, hogy együtt alkossanak. A Hét nyelven beszélünk kötet első, "Balaton-abszint" című fejezete kaleidoszkópként ad az itt született versekből válogatást arról, milyenek vagyunk mi most.
Minden alkotó legfrissebb verseit is adta a kötet egy-egy fejezete számára – a hat eredeti: angol, észt, francia, német, spanyol és ukrán nyelveken. A hetedik nyelv pedig, ragyogó műfordító-társaiknak köszönhetően: a magyar.
In the spring of 2023, six European poets came to Hungary to work together, and it is their poetry that is showcased in We Speak the Same Language. The fi rst of the anthology‘s seven chapters, ”Balaton Absinth“, serves as a kaleidoscope, offering a selection of the poems that were created
here, refl ecting who we are now.
Each of the following six chapters is dedicated to the latest poems by the six contributors in their original tongue – English, Estonian, French, German, Spanish, and Ukrainian. The seventh
language of the volume’s title is – thanks to the magnifi cent work of the translators – Hungarian.
